when i am feeling overwhelmed, i tend to retreat to this exact spot in my room. it is a place where i feel safe, a place where i can breathe. i read books here and write here and sometimes even do work here. i love this photo because of the barely visible veins on my thighs…a glimpse at the thin skin i am forever trying to hide, the vulnerability i only allow myself to reveal here, alone in my bed.

Dg - i must admit, i have always found vulnerability sexy. When someone opens up, shares something that makes them vulnerable, they are trusting me to do the right thing with that information. I can only tell you that to me, the veins make you look alive. You are breathing, thin or thick skin, you are radiant and alive. That spot in your room looks lovely, i’m glad you have a place you can regenerate. Be good to yourself.
