Lauren Davis photographed by Arthur Elgort in 2008
Her wedding dress was made from 60 meters of silk jacquard woven with peony blooms, the coat embroidered with tinsel paillettes, silver threads, vintage lace and tufts of white feathers.  It was designed for Lauren by Olivier Theyskens when he was at Nina Ricci and took 1,200 hours to assemble, with an additonal 800 hours with the legendary Lesage embroiderers.
