I’ve spent the last hour or so looking at the pages of my new followers and I have to say, you guys, along with my ‘not so new followers’, are pretty awesome. But I wanted to just take a minute to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who follows me and for the rare notes that come my way. The positive feedback I recieve is overwhelming to me and quite honestly, leaves me with this feeling of awe. When I started my tumblr, I never for a moment thought that I would have 50 followers, let alone the 600+ that I have today. Again, I’m awed and humbled by this. I don’t post to tumblr to gain followers; this isn’t a popularity contest to me. I post things that touch me. If something tugs at my heart or brings out an emotion - whether it’s a picture or a quote - I post it. If I think it’s pretty, I’ll post it. If it makes me hungry or leaves me with a craving, I post it. And if it gets my juices flowing, I’ll post that, too. Once in awhile I’ll even post some of my own poetry but whatever it is I put here on my pages, my hopes are to touch someone. I want you to cock your head to the side and say to yourself, “Wow, I never thought of that”. I want to intrigue you, make you curious and leave you hungry for more.
When I post and when I write, I’m opening myself up to you and giving you a little piece of me and some insight into what makes me tick.
Thank you for the hunger that keeps you coming back for more.
