Yukata by mina perhonen, FACETASM and Others under the Direction of Souta Yamaguchi

Isetan Shinjuku and textile maker HINAYA KYOTO collaborate with Tokyo designers to present yukata. The collaborated designs will be sold at the kimono promotional space on the 7th floor of Isetan Shinjuku and at HINAYA KYOTO Kiyomizu Gojozaka store from June 19th.

Four brands, THEATRE PRODUCTS, mina perhonen, FACETASM and ANREALAGE participate in the collaboration and the direction of the project is handled by stylist/select shop Mikiri Hassin director Souta Yamaguchi.

The theme of the project is “A mix of Japanese and Western styles wearing yukata.” The project introduces yukata styles incorporating mode and street fashion going beyond standard styles. Yukata, obi (sash), accessories and Japanese sandals are lined up using each brand’s original dyeing techniques, textiles, silhouettes and materials fusing Japanese and Western elements.
