Maybe not Can’t…. more like prefer not to… If you get into a good book then you certainly feel this way!  My brother has learning disabilities and does not like to read.   I feel sadness over that for him.  A good book can transport you to different worlds, places, and times. Although the older I get then the harder to read at night, ha, ha….I still love a good book.
